HOLDING THE WORLD...

{Photograph by Sally J Shim}
...in our thoughts and prayers. I took this photograph last month for my photography class and it seemed appropriate for today's post. We are so deeply saddened about the earthquake in Japan that has claimed the lives of so many people. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone that was affected. As you know we are heading out to Asia next week and we have plans to be in Tokyo for a portion of our trip. We're feeling very grateful that we were not out there this week. All of this is just another reminder for me that life is fragile and each day I have on this earth is a blessing.
