As a mum of two boys I am always on the look out for well made, nicely designed clothing. We steer clear of clothes plastered with graphics and characters [why do so many boys' clothing have balls + trucks on them?] and instead favor solids, gingham and stripes. Lots of stripes.

Thank you for posting this. I've been enjoying your blog(s). I'm expecting my first (a boy) in late June and it's so refreshing to see there *are* alternatives to the sports / graphics / "Parent Loves Me" boy's clothing ghetto. I was beginning to fear my best friend would be a seam ripper!

Yes! Me too. I read a quote in GQ once about young boys "only being dressed for warmth & comfort" which tends to carry on into manhood...I'm determined to teach my son some style!
