Muji is THE best store in my book. When we visited Tokyo two years ago I went to over five different Muji stores all around the city. And on our trip to Korea last month I had to make a pit stop or two at Muji. Although I love their clothes and household goods their paper goods are my favorite. Their minimal aethestic and no logo designs are perfection.

i have to agree, sally! muji is my favorite favorite store ever. when i used to travel in asia, i'd try to stop in every muji i could - even with similar stock among most items, there were always a few things new to me at each stop. i think kraft brown might be my favorite color. :)

i did the same as you while in japan – i left no muji store unattended! it's one of my favorites.

you've read kenya hara's "designing design", i'm sure? i loved learning about the man behind muji's brilliance.

muji is always the first place I go to in NYC, I adore it! And I will only write with their pens, it's been a few years now and my sketchbook has seen nothing else. I would love to go to one in asia, I'm sure it's even more amazing.

JANE // Not crazy! I always bring them home with me! :)

VICTORIA // I actually haven't read "Designing Design" yet. Hope to read it soon. I can only imagine how inspiring it must be!

KENZIE // I've never been to the NYC stores so I cannot compare but I have a feeling the stores in Asia might carry some unique items.

BONNIE // Haha! Good taste my friend! :)

ANGIE // Ooh...you are SO lucky to have lived in Japan! I like the idea of a Muji lunch break! :)
