{Photographs by Sally J Shim}

Broder is a local Swedish restaurant and one of our favorite breakfast + brunch spots in SE Portland. The food is amazing and although sometimes there is a bit of a wait it is competely worth it. The photographs above are from two separate visits to Broder. Some of our favorites include the baked eggs, baked scrambles, aebleskiver (Danish pancakes) with housemade lemon curd and lingonberry jam, apple fritters and potato pancakes. A bit of sweet and savory is the perfect combination in my book!

Hi Sally, I have followed your blog for a little while now and I thought I might make my first comment today! I love your pictures, and in this post I particularly loved the one of the kids sitting in the window! I love the clean layout and reading about the many things that inspire you - it is one of my regular creative go-to's!

All those dishes sounds really delicious, but it's nothing we actually eat in Sweden, except the lingonberry jam ;)
