[MAKE] IPAD SLEEVE v. 2.0

{Photographs by Sally J Shim}
I always have the itch to sew something before I leave on vacation. I originally wanted to finish up a few dresses but I settled on a new iPad sleeve. My old iPad sleeve has been put to good use and I thought it would be fun to make a new one out of the grey industrial felt I ordered from Filz Felt. Since I've been crushing on neon this year I thought pink neon thread would be perfect against the grey. The iPad sleeve v. 2.0 design is very similar to the first version. I didn't have any buttons in my stash to go with the new sleeve so I made a fabric button. [To make the button I stitched lines on to grey cotton fabric and used a little button kit to make it into a fabric button. Fabric buttons are super easy + fun to make!] Now that I'm back from vacation it is time to finish up those dresses!

so great! I'm totally crushing over that felt.
KENZIE // Thanks, Kenzie!!! Grey felt is the best!!
Love the pink against the gray. This is lovely. I have a zagg keyboard with mine. I'm thinking if I make it just a tiny bit bigger my iPad will still fit with the keyboard attached. Love it.
