It is nice to be different is a sweet children's book written and illustrated by Fuse Yasuko. I bought the Korean/English translated version a few years ago when we were living in Korea. The story is about a friendship between a circle and triangle and how through a little adventure together they learn to appreciate their differences. I love that the book is written in Korean and English [great for adults/kids learning to reading Korean]. And I adore the simple and sweet illustrations [how cute are the circle and triangle eating pizza together?].

I love it. I'm going to get this for my kids.

This goes exactly in line with a message I repeat to my kids over and over:

"If everyone was the same and liked the same things, the world would be very boring"

Oh, I love this!! Do you know where I could purchase a copy? Our daughter is adopted from Korea, and at 8, is aware enough to feel different from the primarily Dutch descendant community in which she is growing up. This book would be so wonderful for her!

LUCINDA // If you click on the link above (title of the book in the post) it will take you to a site that sells the book. Hope your daughter loves it!
