While the boys and I were in LA we ate our fair share of good food. I admit that I could eat in K-town [Korea town] for every meal since we are lacking good Korean restaurants here in Portland, but I did venture out and try some new restaurants on this trip. One of my favorite new spots is Farm Shop which is located in the Brentwood Country Mart. We stopped by during lunch time but they are also open for breakfast and brunch [and soon for family style dinners]. The boys and I ordered the fried weiser farm potatoes, farm egg salad and Maine lobster roll. Everything was quite tasty. I love the interior of the restaurant which has a lot of bright white accents and beautiful wood tables and chairs. And the branding is amazing, clean and minimal, totally up my alley.

I looove the design of this place.
Speaking of Korean restaurants in Portland, even though we have a shortage, are there any you can recommend? I've been on the hunt for a good spot. I'm starting to think I might find a gem among the food carts.

Loved meandering through the Brentwood Market a few weeks ago. Really, really darling. We almost ate at the farmshop but ended up elsewhere. Can't wait to try it though...hopefully sooner than later.

MEGAN // I haven't tried any of the "Korean" food carts. My boys ordered something from Namu which I would say is more of a Hawaiian version of Korean food. In Beaverton there is DJK for BBQ and Nakwon. Both are decent.

STEPHANIE // How fun! Loved the interior!!

JOYCE // It was!

LAUREN // You would love the restaurant and Brentwood Country Mart. Make sure to stop by Sugar Paper!

CHELSEA // You need to go!!

ZILL.Y // You are welcome!! More fun Portland posts to come!!

STEPHANIE // Definitely should stop by. It is a beautiful space.
