The boys have been out of school for two weeks now and thoroughly enjoying their summer vacation. We decided to stay in Busan this summer since we only arrived a little over six months ago. I'm a little sad that this will be our first summer in nine years that we won't be enjoying the beautiful Portland summers (and berry picking and BBQing with friends). But I can't complain about anything since all we need to take is a few steps out our front door to enjoy the beach. J has fallen in love with boogie boarding and j loves splashing around in the waves or digging in the sand. Back in the States the boys usually attend several summer camps but this summer we have established a simple routine of hanging out at home, meeting up with friends, spending time on the beach, reading and taking a few classes here and there. There is still so much of Korea we have yet to explore so several weekend trips are in order. And we are super excited to be heading back to Japan next month to check out Fukuoka. I know the next six weeks are going to fly by so I'm trying to soak in and enjoy the slower pace of summer.
