[STYLE] ELEVATOR SNAPSHOTS 06

Dresses are my go to outfit during the summer months although I also love a good skirt and top combination. I think the ease of putting on a dress (no time spent on thinking about what to pair it with) makes them my first choice when I'm getting ready in the morning. And dresses are also the perfect thing to wear when trying to beat the summer heat. This summer I made a few goals for myself, one of which is to sew 10 dresses. I am using some trusty old Japanese sewing patterns and also testing out some new patterns. Two down, eight more to go! I plan to share the dresses and my favorite Japanese sewing books in the weeks to come. If you have any favorite dress patterns, please let me know!

I always wish I had more time for sewing when summer arrives. I recently started this Lisette pattern (it's from Oliver + S's Liesl Gibson) and I'm enjoying it. I lengthened the front of it so it wasn't so short, but it's a nice easy pattern! http://www.sewlisette.com/patterns/LL1892

MIMI // What a cute pattern! Thank you for sharing!
