PRETTY PACKAGES: WASHI TAPE GLASSINE BAG DIY

Many of the projects from my book, Pretty Packages: 45 Creative-Gift Wrapping Projects, can be used for party favors. One cute and simple project from the book is the Washi Tape Glassine Bag. With just a few materials you can transform plain glassine bags into party favors or little thank you gifts. Fill them up with candy, confetti, or a small gift.

The color and pattern combinations are endless thanks to the wide variety of washi tape out there. I love the idea of selecting a color palette and mixing up the patterns and solid colored washi tapes so that each bag is unique. Cute Tape is my favorite online resource for washi tape. You can find the exclusive Thank You Washi Tape Glassine Bag tutorial I created for Chronicle Books Blog here. And if you would like your own THANK YOU stickers you can download them below.

Cute idea!! I will use it this week for the youth group girls at church. I like to hand out a little something at the start of each new school year.

I didn't know you had a book out! (am behind on blog reading) but I ordered your book as soon as I saw it on amazon - without reading the sample chapter. You're one of a few people I'd buy a book without knowing much about it because your style is impeccable.

Can't wait to read and use the book!
