[WEAR] MUKU

So many of my friends are pregnant or have recently given birth, so I have babies (and baby clothing) on my mind. I adore the beautiful clothing produced by MUKU. Founded by a couple in Lithuania, MUKU clothing is a "balance between form and function with each product being designed with your child in mind." I love the simple and clean lines, natural fabrics, and muted color palette. MUKU also has a womens and home line, although I have to say I am more partial to their girls line (I wish they would offer the line in big girl/small mama sizes).

[STYLE] ELEVATOR SNAPSHOTS 02

PHOTOGRAPHS BY SALLYJSHIM VIA INSTAGRAM

It definitely feels like autumn here in Busan. I love the cooler temperatures and being able to wear sweaters, scarves and jackets. Although we do have the occasional warm day (note the shorts/sweatshirt combo above) most of the time I can be found wearing a sweater and jeans/pants.

[STYLE] ELEVATOR SNAPSHOTS

PHOTOGRAPHS BY SALLY J SHIM VIA INSTAGRAM

How would you describe your clothing style? Recently my friend Chelsea, floral designer + prop stylist extraordinnaire, asked me about my style as part of a Babble feature on stylish moms. Although I don't often think about my style when shopping, I know I am the type that likes what she likes. I am definitely not controlled by the latest trends (I like the idea of studs, but know they are just not for me) and tend to stick to classic pieces that will last me for many seasons. Over the years I've had requests from readers to document my outfits the way I do for the boys but to be honest I think my style is quite simple (maybe too simple). Since moving to Korea I started taking elevator snapshots of myself and after going through them I noticed that my wardrobe consists of solids, stripes, and dots (and big tote bags). I loved reading what the other moms in the feature had to say about how their styles changed after becoming mothers and I would love to hear your thoughts. And even for those without children, how has your style changed over the years?

[WEAR] MUJI LABO

MUJI

My love for Muji is no secret. Although we have a few Muji shops here in Busan I am always happy to visit the Muji shops in Japan because they have a wider selection of goods. I love the clean, simple lines of Muji clothes for men, women and children. One of my favorite lines is Muji Labo, their environmentally conscious clothing collection for men and women. I could see myself wearing many of the pieces which are simple and classic.

[WEAR] MINOUX JEWELRY

MINOUX JEWELRY

I'm loving the mix of neutral tones and pops of color from Minoux Jewelry's enamel collection. My favorite is the simple and sweet Skyline necklace.
