I SPY VALENTINE PRINTABLES

When the boys were younger we would often play "I Spy" when we were in situations where we had to pass some time. So when I came across these magnifying glasses at our local shop I thought they would be perfect for non-sweet valentines.

The I Spy Valentine Cards fit the mini magnifying glasses. All you need to do is print out the card and use a piece of washi tape to adhere it to the card. For the regular size magnifying glasses I designed little I Spy Valentine Gift Tags that you can tie onto the magnifying glass handle with a piece of ribbon. Check out your local party supply store for magnifying glasses in the party favor section or you can also use mini binoculars

VALENTINE'S DAY PRINTABLES

Are you getting excited for Valentine's Day? I'll be sharing some new Valentine's Day projects and printables next week and in the meantime I thought I would review some of the printables I designed in previous years. For the packages above I used my Valentine's Day Heart Gift Wrap printable and Valentine's Day Cupcake Topper printable.

This Tic Tac Toe Valentine printable is one of the most popular printables on this site. The original design was created back in 2011 for the boys' classmates and last year I re-designed it and offered it as a free printable

These valentines were made using the Valentine's Day Handmade Cards printables (four different designs). You can add sweet treats, trinkets, drawings, or photographs to the cards.

PERSONALIZED FELT HEART MUSLIN BAG DIY FOR OH HAPPY DAY

There are certain holidays I was not a big fan of until I became a mother (Halloween, I'm talking to you!). Valentine's Day was one of those holidays that didn't stand out to me as being particularly special. But once I had my first son I became a fan of making handmade Valentine's Day decorations and valentines for friends and family.

Valentine's Day always creeps up so quickly after the holidays so this year I decided to get a head start on making handmade valentines for friends and family. I'll be sharing several ideas in the coming weeks for handmade Valentine's Day goodies. First up is a Personalized Felt Heart Bag DIY I designed for Oh Happy Day. I love anything personalized and these bags are super easy to make.

[MAKE] TIC TAC TOE VALENTINES

PHOTOGRAPHS BY SALLY J SHIM

This year I got a head start on the boys' Valentine's Day cards. (Thanks to my bum knee and doctor's orders to take it easy.) For j's classmates we decided to recreate one of our favorite valentines, the Tic Tac Toe Valentine. Over the years I've received many requests to make this valentine available as a printable and last week I finally got around to redesigning it.
