CUSTOM WATERCOLOR PORTRAIT BY JENNIFER VALLEZ

You've probably seen my friend Jennifer Vallez's work before, she is the genius behind Sophie + Lili. Jennifer and I have been friends for a long time and I've blogged about her custom dolls (still love my Sally doll), custom valentines, original illustrations, and amazing collaborations. Today I wanted to share about her latest and greatest project: Custom Watercolor Portraits! Her watercolor illustrations are absolutely beautiful and I know many of us having been requesting family portraits and now she is offering them right here. We just received our family watercolor portrait and it is perfection. Our family was lucky enough to be one of her first test families and I could not be more thrilled. We haven't had a proper family portrait in years. I sent Jennifer a photo from our Rome trip last year and she captured it perfectly (just picture the Colosseum in the background). I think a custom watercolor portrait is the perfect unique and memorable gift to give any friend or loved one. I know our portrait is going to be a family keepsake.

[ART] JENNIFER VALLEZ

PHOTOGRAPHS BY JENNIFER VALLEZ

Jennifer Vallez's latest watercolor illustrations have been popping up on my Instagram feed and I could not be more in love! Not only is she a wonderfully talented artist (and clothing designer, illustrator and doll maker) but her style is amazing. If only her sketches would turn into a clothing line (hint, hint), I would be so happy! Jen hasn't added her watercolor illustrations to her shop yet, but stay tuned!!
