[WRAP] PACKAGE 022

My studio is bursting with hearts and Valentine's Day goodness. Although Valentine's Day is almost over here in Korea I wanted to share this Valentine's Day package I whipped up using the Valentine's Day Heart Gift Wrap and Valentine's Day Gift Topper (aka cupcake topper).

[MAKE] VALENTINE'S DAY HEART GIFT WRAP

If you're looking for some last minute Valentine's Day gifts, I have one last printable for you. Although I designed these red and black heart patterned paper with Valentine's Day in mind, I think you can use them all year round.

If you print them on to white sticker paper you can use them to wrap chocolate bars.

 Adds a nice Valentine-y touch.

If you want to get fancy you can combine the two patterns (love the half red/black hearts) or add one of my Valentine's Day gift toppers minus the toothpick.

I love these gold chocolate hearts.

You can use the Valentine's Day gift topper and a clear self-sealing bag to wrap them up.

[MAKE] VALENTINE'S DAY PEN + NOTEBOOK GIFT

Today is Valentine's Day here in Korea, but for many of you it is right around the corner. Here is a fun last minute Valentine's Day (non-sweet) gift. All you need is a notebook, pen, washi tape, and a Valentine's Day gift topper. And if you are feeling a little crafty you can also make a handmade Valentine's Day card. But if you are running out of time, you can always print one out

[MAKE] VALENTINE'S DAY HANDMADE CARDS

I admit I've gone a bit Valentine's Day crazy over here, but I have a few more projects I want to share with you. Here are some simple + sweet valentines you can whip up for your friends and loved ones. There are four different valentine designs and my favorite thing about these valentines is you can let your creativity run wild. Add a little bag of sweet treats, paper punch shapes, cupcake topper that doubles as a cute little paper flag, photograph, balloon, or fabric heart.

I always keep a stash of clear self-sealing bags handy. You can add candy (I found those heart candies here in Busan, but you can find something similar here) or heart sprinkles. I love making little paper flags to put on top of gifts of add to a card using a strip of washi tape.

You can also add a heart balloon using a bit of washi tape. I love paper punches and used a tiny heart punch and hole punch to create the card on the top right. The bottom left valentine was made using this Martha Stewart punch and the bottom right is a fabric heart similar to the ones I made here.

[MAKE] VALENTINE'S DAY CUPCAKE TOPPER

PHOTOGRAPHS BY SALLY J SHIM

Although we usually limit Valentine's Day goodies to the boys' classmates and teachers, this year I wanted to also pass along some Valentine's Day love to friends. My oven only likes to broil (fixing it is on my to do list!) so I haven't baked anything in a long time, but fortunately we have a local cupcake shop that makes red velvet cupcakes. The cupcakes come adorned with a sweet little red heart and I thought adding a simple cupcake topper would be cute. The great thing about these toppers is you can add them to any baked good or even use them to decorate a Valentine's Day gift as a gift topper like I did here. You can also use the toppers as stickers to wrap around a glassine envelope. The possibilities are endless!
