{Selfridges & Co.}

I'm not a huge chocolate fan but I do appreciate simple + clean branding and packaging. I love the kraft paper wrap and beautiful colored foil used on Amelia Rope Chocolate bars.

Hello, Friends! I'm excited to share some fun news with you. Joke and I just launched SHIMTOKK, a collaborative blog. Each week we will be posting about our packaging projects, workshops and tutorials. If you love pretty packages then we think you'll love SHIMTOKK. If you hop on over there you'll find photographs from our first PACKAGING 101 workshop at SUMMER SCHOOL PORTLAND [a big thank you to our dear friend Bonnie Tsang for the lovely images!], tutorials on how to make a pretty Rainbow Twine Box and Paper Popcorn Holders and a peek at some of our favorite packaging supplies. And if you're the tweeting type you can follow us on Twitter [@SHIMTOKK].

{Bake Sale}

Bake Sale is a catering and delivery company based in Austin, Texas. I discovered it via Camille Styles when she posted about their homemade strawberry pop tarts. You can find Bake Sale's baked goodies at local coffee shops in Austin or you can even have them delivered to your home or office if you live in the Austin area.

Looks like J.Crew is having a little love affair with Russia. I adore these photographs of Russian ballet dancers wearing J.Crew cashmere sweaters. And the Crewcuts Study Abroad in Saint Petersburg, Russia is breathtaking. The cathedrals make for the prettiest backdrops. If only the boys could really go on these types of field trips I would be the first to sign up to be a chaperone!

{Ciel Architectes}     {via Bloesem Kids}

I just created an inspiration board on @Pinterest of children's room interiors. I've been adding to it daily as I get ready to start redecorating the boys' playroom and bedroom this fall. Yes, I was planning to tackle it this summer but decided playdates and little adventures with my boys was more important. I really love the clean and modern spaces that Ciel Architectes have created for their clients. They definitely demonstrate that having proper storage and place for all the "stuff" that children seem to accumulate all too quickly is key to maintaining a well kept room. I've been surfing the web to find well-designed children's spaces and I found some at Remodelista and Dwell. What are your favorite sources of inspiration for children's room interiors?
